Fourth Annual Kole Crook Fiddle Camp, March 19--23, 2006, Ft. Simpson, NT
Aspiring young musicians came from Wrigley, Ft. Simpson, Jean Marie River and Kakisa to participate in Kole Crook Fiddle Camp #4. Our teachers this year were Helen Edgar, from Three Brooks, NB; Gordon Stobbe from Halifax, NS; Jaime RT from Saltspring Island, B.C. and Mark Sullivan from Bowmanville, Ont.
We had four days of expert fiddle instruction, capped by a wonderful community feast and concert, attended by many Ft. Smith citizens who really enjoyed themselves.
