Calvin and Jaime spent time teaching both in Bompas Elementary and Thomas Simpson Schools in Ft. Simpson and, as their fiddle-teaching tour wound down, Andrea Bettger from Hay River came and joined them for a highly successful fiddle jamboree in Ft. Simpson. All of 50 budding fiddlers from no less than 5 Deh Cho communities gathered at Bompas Elementary School for two days of concentrated fiddle instruction followed by an equally successful community concert in the library at Bompas. Part of this concert was the recognition of some of the many sponsors whose organizations, both public and private sectors, support the work of the KCFA.
